Stage Style That Rocks! Posted on 17 Sep 03:00 , 13 comments
Rockstars...it seems as if they live entirely by their own set of rules and they could get away with anything, especially when it comes to fashion. They radiate such strong stage presence and personality that it only makes sense that it would manifest into strong style choices.
Their appearance is part of the show.
An outfit helps to enhance your personality and highlight your individuality.
We LOVE this fringe suede dress that we found at a local boutique here in Edwardsville, IL called MOD. Paired with these Restricted Wanda Sandals, a CS Gems' vintage multichain necklace and bangle bracelets, it's the perfect stage look or a rockin' night on the town!
Carrie and The Catapults can be seen all over the St. Louis metro area and around the midwest. Carrie can also be seen solo throughout the area. Catch her performing at the Wildey Theater on Saturday, 9/19/15, for the "The Wildey Celebrates Fashion" Show along with a popup boutique including CS Gems!
A huge thanks for these incredible live show shots from Jack Rainey Photography! Check him out for other amazing prints!
Carrie and the Catapults are entering their 3rd year together. St. Louis is a world-renowned music-scene stocked with great talent, and as such is a town slow-to-welcome newcomers. CATC has enjoyed great success on the local music scene while enduring some changes in personnel, having cultivated a sound and following and are currently working on releasing an LP of original music.
The reason for their success and immediate affable connection to audiences is live performances that are high energy and full of blistering deliveries from each vocalist and instrumentalists, all of whom are accomplished in their own right; a “super group” or collection of “all stars” so to speak, from the St. Louis pool of talent.
A 7 person line-up is most typical, but is occasionally expanded into a larger band adding additional brass and harmony vocalists depending on occasion. Fronted by former Branson idol and 2-time National finalist in the Texaco Country Showdown, stunning talent, Carrie Joy Andreas, and covering a multi-decade song-list of soulful songs of the 70s, 80s, 90s and into the new millennia, audiences don’t have much to want for except more room to dance.
