Let's get to know more about Rachel, her blog and boutique:

Tell us a little about how To Hell in a Handbag got started?
I have been obsessed with fashion for as long as I can remember and when I realized fashion blogging was a thing I jumped in. I've had To Hell in a Handbag for a few years now but it was actually called Rae's Guide to Style when I first started. I was horrible when I first started though as we all are I'm sure, so needless to say when I switched from Blogger to WordPress this year a lot of the earlier posts didn't come with me. ;)

Describe for us your personal style?

You know, I don't really have a definitive "style type". I love fashion so much that I love to experiment and try different styles all the time. I used t say I was a heels girl but these days you're more likely to find me in flats or boots. One day I might be more feminine, the next more "Rocker". I just like to have fun with all the different areas.

What has been your favorite experience with To Hell in a Handbag?

When I was living in the Florida Panhandle I think I was the only fashion blogger in the area so it was very refreshing moving to Birmingham and finding a whole blogging community here. And since the move To Hell in a Handbag has opened some amazing doors like being interviewed for and featured in the local magazine B-Metro, walking in fashion shows at Saks, and attending Birmingham Fashion Week as a member of the press. I also had the opportunity to interview Rebecca Minkoff! But I'm just getting started as there is so much more on the horizon.

You and your husband, Chandler, recently opened an online boutique, Heaven & Helfyre.  Tell us what made you decide to open your own on-line boutique?

Well, opening a brick and mortar store or an online boutique has always been the dream but I never thought about it too much until my husband left his job last September and being forced to really think about the future. So we just did some research and went for it! I think for my husband, he saw how much money I would spend online shopping and figured this would be a good way to get me to stop, lol.

Describe for us the products that Heaven & Helfyre has to offer?
We gave the shop a little boho vibe though there is really something for everyone. We just started carrying Mavi denim which is a mid-priced denim line and very well made. I especially love the Alexa, which is the perfect black skinny jean, especially if you are on the shorter side as they come with a 28 inch inseam. We also carry House of Harlow jewelry and right now we have 3 different Luv Aj x Stone Cold Fox belts which are like pieces of jewelry for your hips! And then there's Auguste, Tigerlily, and MLM brands (last 2 coming this week) all of which are Australian brands. I'm obsessed with Australian designers and am hoping to be adding Cameo, Finders Keepers and Keepsake this Fall.

Rachel recently styled one of our vintage tassel necklaces...can you say FABULOUS?!
